“His Grace is Sufficient!”

“And he said unto me, my grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.”

Corinthians 12:9a

Our Heavenly Father loves us so much that He uses any means to reach us. His love is overpowering and overwhelming for us that He gave His best – His only begotten son, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the essence of Our Heavenly Father’s love. The love of Our Heavenly Father and His son, Jesus, goes hand in hand. You cannot separate this love. It is always there and constant. The love of Our Heavenly Father was nailed to the cross, so that our debt could be paid in full.
It says in Revelations 3:20 that Jesus is standing at the doors of our heart asking to come in. All we have to do is open that door and let Him in. As we let Him in, let Him sit on thrown of our hearts. He is working on our hearts, emotions and attitudes. As He sits on this thrown, He does a major clean up in our lives. He will work on each room in our heart and even in our closets. As He does this is all we have do is to repent and be sorrowful for our sins and having wiliness to change and to grow in this love.

We may slip and fail as we take this journey with Our Lord, but He is always there to encourage us to go on and finish the race. When we fall, all we need to do is dust ourselves off and ask for His love and mercy. Then pick yourself up and dust yourself off and press towards the mark of Christ. As we press forward, Jesus is there by our sides and saying, “Go on my son – you can do it! Remember my grace is sufficient for you.” Where we are weak – He is strong.  Where we are poor – He is rich. There is a children’s song that says the following “Jesus on inside working on outside.” Remember in Psalm 23, it says when we walk through valley of death – His rod and staff comforts us - like any good shepherd He does comfort us. Remember His goodness and mercy will follow us all the days of our lives.
If you haven’t let Jesus in, I would encourage you do so. Then step aside and let God has His way with you. Remember we don’t have to be perfect because He was and He did pay our debt in full.  He loves us and cares for us and He is calling you to join Him on this road of life.
